Film Synopsis
In 2011 George Barkouris was forced to live on
the streets. He was one of the hundreds of “Athens’ new homeless,” this new
social class that was created by the Greek crisis. He was a man “that didn’t
make it in life,” but that with pride he preferred to become homeless than to
overload others. Today, sixty three year-old George is still struggling to
stand on his feet and recognizes that the battle he needs to give isn’t against
others or his family or the social system, but with himself.
